Psychiatric Telehealth

Telehealth is a great option for many as it allows you to see your provider from the comfort of your own home or office. To learn more about our telehealth policies and if it is right for you please click here and here.

Limitations of Telemedicine

Certain psychiatric symptoms and conditions require in person care or a higher level of care than can be provided through virtual means. If at any point it is determined that you can no longer be safely treated via telemedicine, Psychiatric Wellness Center will provide appropriate referrals.

Evidenced Based Practices

Our practice utilizes evidenced based methods. This includes: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person centered therapy, trauma informed therapy, medication management, brief psychotherapy, mindfulness based counseling. If we do not specialize in your needs, we can help curate the appropriate treatment team.

Please take your individual needs into account before choosing our practice. If you utilize crisis services often we would encourage you seek out a larger practice.

Safe Space

Our practice is a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Mutual Respect and Diversity

As a trauma informed practice we have a zero tolerance policy regarding violence, aggression and disrespect toward staff or patients. We celebrate diversity and equality in our community, amongst our staff and patients regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status or health. We expect our patients and staff to treat one another with kindness and mutual respect.

Appointment Length

Our intakes are 60 minutes and follow ups are 30 or 60 minutes. All appointments are telehealth.
